Sanibel Island

After a disappointment of arriving at the Beach Comber location Saturday morning (27 Sept 2014) and discovering that the waves were up and the visibility poor.  Two of our crew members decide to make an exploration mission to the west coast.  Usually the waves don't discourage this crew. However with the rains over the past few weeks, the out fall has been substantially heavy from the inter coastal waterway.  If you have been following our journey you know then that our task has been monumental and our crew small.  Heard back from them late last night and got a report that the water was green and they didn't get any good photos.  Just wanted to say thanks and great job!  Sometimes its just about the mission.  Our two explorers sounded like they had a good road trip anyway.  Hopefully we can get one last trip to the Beach Comber before that water cools off and we have to put the wet suits on.
